​​Gonzhu Lab is the research and development division of Gonzhu Studios. Alongside the studio's work in visual effects and animation, the Lab develops computational tools: software, systems for human-robot collaboration, and frameworks for the alignment of artificial intelligence. What connects these fields, and the studio's own craft, is one conviction: that the most valuable creation is co-creation, people and machines building together rather than one standing in for the other.

 

One principle runs through those fields: that the coherence of a system should be derived, not imposed. That principle produced our first published tool, the Ontología Endógena Recursiva (OER), an axiomatic framework in which ethical behaviour is derived from first principles instead of added afterwards as a set of external rules.

From the OER grows a wider effort, Hermandad de la Inteligencia (Brotherhood of Intelligence), which explores what aligned systems can build on a shared foundation.
